The base framework takes on a special role, because it bundles all system-wide solutions and functions that are used by the other frameworks. For instance, the generally applicable master data are processed in the Base framework. The Base framework contains applications such as items, partners, countries, exchange rates, and payment methods. Above all, it is the clearly structured implementation of the partner/item concept that offers convenient working.
